6 Kosher for Passover Wines to TryApril 9, 2016
There’s no reason you can’t have a good-quality wine that’s kosher for Passover. Here are six to add to those I’ve recommended in the past few weeks.
Thracian Valley, Bulgaria, $20
This is a blend of rubin — a cross of nebbiolo and syrah developed in Bulgaria in the 1940s — and merlot. Peppery spice elevates plummy fruit, embraced by firm tannins. ABV: 14 percent.
Distributed by G&B: Available in the District at Cleveland Park Wine and Spirits, MacArthur Beverages. Available in Maryland at Bradley Food & Beverage in Bethesda, Gaitherstowne Beer & Wine in Gaithersburg, the Wine Harvest in Potomac.
